Furniture with the presence of concrete, and the calm of something made by hand.
Every McAuley piece is layered by hand in microcement and built to order — the monolithic character of stone, without its weight. Nothing is mass-made. No two surfaces are ever quite alike.

The material
What microcement is, and why it lasts.
Microcement is a fine cement-and-resin surface, applied in thin layers by hand and sealed to a seamless finish. It carries the depth and tactility of concrete at a fraction of the weight, and it is non-porous — resistant to heat, water and daily life. Sealed once, it asks for little more than a wipe with a damp cloth.

Made by one pair of hands.
I started McAuley London to make furniture the way I would want to own it — slowly, by hand, and built to last. Every table is finished in my workshop and signed with the maker's stamp before it leaves. When you commission a piece, it is made for you, in the finish you choose.
